One of my most used sayings hands down is- and that’s how it’s done. I remember the first time my son turned to me and said this, I was laughing so hard! And at that moment i remember thinking gosh, they pick up on everything!
This little mini card is a favorite of mine. I love using it for congratulations, when someone has had to pivot, when something has ended, a new beginning; you name it I love giving this card.
School just ended last week and I’m working through getting the studio organized to pack up and this little card just made me smile.

Hey y’all! 
We have absolutely loved pouring our hearts and all we got into this Little Labor of Love. Over the past 18 years, we have had the absolute pleasure of working with hundreds of amazing small businesses, several large accounts, done over 30 tradeshows, sent tens of thousands of orders, packed hundreds of thousands of cards, worked with lots of great vendors, done incredible collaborations and so much more! The best part has been being part of the biggest joys, celebrations, heartaches and everything in between with our collection. 
We have decided to just continue with our licensing projects and doing our small batch handmade keepsakes. All our other goods are being retired. We will no longer be producing our own goods. It has been a VERY hard decision but we have worked so hard and tried so hard and won’t stop! 
But for now, I am focusing on being able to collect more moments with what makes me go and that is my family and helping others through volunteering. Time is fleeting and I just want to be a mom without worrying about paper supply chain issues or things running late and tariffs and more. 
I can never express how much every single card, cocktail napkin, boxed set- everything, has meant to me. I will never stop keeping the postman busy by sending handwritten letters.

When we first started 18 years ago, I always would do blog posts and then social posts (when I finally had a page, lol) about my fave small businesses. And I have always really supported small business & promoted them!
But have been kinda bad about posting the past couple years I’ve tried to be off my phone as much as possible and in the moments.
But I am gonna make it my thing over this next few weeks as summer is about to be here! And it’s the perfect time to grab teachers gifts, coaches gifts, birthday gifts, shower gifts & just because gifts!

If you’ve been following us for years now, you know that I am a stop at every little lemonade stand person! My kids have now become the same! And even if we are in a ‘rush’ we stop at the lemonade stand!
It’s one of those little joyful moments when you see how excited they get when you buy a cup of lemonade from them!
But to me, it’s more. It’s showing how wonderful working toward something is! How much fun trying something with friends can be! How much fun creating something is. Making sure to have patience & not giving up!
Add stopping at lemonade stands to your summer bucket lists, I promise you, it’ll bring you so much unexpected joy and help make you slow down to savor & collect moments!

I have a lot of favorites when it comes to our cards to be honest. But the entire collection, we created in 2018 with our two biggest buddies (who weren’t so big then) is my absolute top favorite.
They wanted to have their very own card collection and of course we said absolutely!
When we asked what they wanted to call it & they immediately said breathless paper co junior and it took me by surprise.
I just remember my eyes welled up and I tried to not feel so emotional that they wanted to just be a part of what we did. But I am who I am, and so i was in tears. Lol!
We asked them what they wanted to create and cards like thanks for being my friend and you are awesome were the first ones they picked to do!
These cards are a beautiful representation of beauty creating. And I just have totally loved seeing how loved this collection has been over all these years. Xo.

Never grow weary of doing good.

I never get tired of the little scripture cards my biggest girl writes & pops on my desk, like this one from a couple days ago.
Almost always, they are the perfect words at the perfect times.
Maybe these are words you could use too. 🩷

This year we actually had a holiday card.
It’s been years since we did one for ourselves. This card meant a lot to me. I wanted it to say we’ve been living a life full of all the things that bring us joy and just being grateful for one another. These three precious blessings of ours, are our entire world. They truly are why we work so hard and try so hard and won’t ever stop.
I wanted to take the picture of them and our big girl to write the words because she’s so creative and the outfits not to be planned and coordinated or perfect or picked out for them, and just simply taken right in our front yard.
I wanted them to throw on what has been part of living a life of joyful blessings for them.
Our littlest love muffin had her big sister do her hair (like she loves to do) and she put on her favorite ballet outfit she’s been wearing to her classes. Our middle had her cheerleading uniform on & her guitar in hand. And our biggest buddy fresh from a soccer weekend, drumsticks in hand (as he almost always does) and his most favorite hat ( gave to him!) on his head! Most importantly they all wore their big beautiful smiles!
And I could not have loved it all more!
I feel a lot of gratitude for this past year. I’ve been doing so much thinking and planning and contemplating. And while I did, giving as much of my time to help others as I possibly could, which is where my heart feels led to be.
I usually find myself figuring out my word of the year right before the new year arrives. I think this past years word for me was actually blessings because when I look back at the year I just feel pretty overwhelmed with all the blessings had throughout all of the ups and downs. When you really see things clearly with a grateful heart, the beauty and the blessings are right there. And they are what makes this life so beautiful.
