Poets Bettina Judd, Opal J. Moore, Maya Marshall, and W.J. Lofton will be present for a discussion and reading of collective memory and historical disposition. E. Hughes is a third-year PhD student in the Philosophy Department at Emory University.

On October 24, 2024, Dr. Lauren Guilmette Associate Professor of Philosophy at Elon University gave the Williams F. Edward Lecture in White Hall at Emory University.

Dr. John Stuhr moderated her talk, “Something in the Atmosphere: Community Gardens and the Project of an Affective Commons,” and was well received by Philosophy undergraduate and graduate students.
