On our way to USPSA Race Gun Nationals!

This will be my first Race Gun Nationals, and I’m excited to see what happens when the work meets the match.

One of my goals this year was to shoot 10 major matches. Not because I expected to magically become a better shooter just by showing up, but because I wanted more exposure to bigger stages, tougher competition, match pressure, and all the little things you can only learn by putting yourself in that environment over and over again.

I’m a coach and instructor, but I’m also—and always will be—a student. The more I learn, the more I realize how much there is left to learn. Every match, every stage, every mistake, every win, and every person I train with gives me something I can take back to the range and work on.

This year has been about continuing to build my fundamentals, expanding my understanding of competitive shooting, getting comfortable being uncomfortable, and testing what I’ve been working on when it actually counts.

And I seriously couldn’t ask for a better group of people to do it with. We train together, compete together, support each other, give each other hell, laugh WAY too much, and somehow manage to be completely ridiculous while still pushing each other to get better.

The shooting is important—but the people you get to share the journey with make it that much better.

Race Gun Nationals… here we come!

Time to learn some things, shoot some stages, make some memories, and probably make some questionable decisions along the way.

Four hours on the range with Scott today, and he PUT IN THE WORK.

Scott wanted to focus on becoming more efficient with his movement for both work and competition, so we took one stage and really broke it down.

Instead of just running it over and over, we attacked it multiple different ways—experimenting with foot placement, entries and exits, blending targets, movement, and efficient stage planning. We also looked at when and where moving actually gains you something…and when staying planted is the better choice.

There isn’t always one answer. Sometimes you have to explore the possibilities, test them, and figure out what is actually most efficient for the individual shooter.

This is the kind of deep dive we can get into with private coaching. We have the time to experiment, make adjustments, run it again, and really dig into the WHY behind what we’re doing.

And did I mention it was HOT? Scott didn’t care. Four hours later he was still working, asking questions, experimenting, and getting better.

Great day of training and exactly the kind of work I love doing. POV Nutrition LLC kept me from dehydrating today, it really works!

What a great day on the range for our Progression Pistol Course!

Huge thank you to everyone who came out and spent the day training with us. You guys showed up ready to learn, put in the work, stayed focused, and brought great energy from start to finish.

Progression is all about taking those solid foundations and learning how to apply them with more speed, efficiency, and confidence—and it was awesome watching everything start to come together throughout the day.

Great shooting, great people, and a damn good day of training.

Thank you for trusting Force Solutions with your training. We appreciate every one of you!

Smoking match last night as always with a bunch of fun and great shooters Freedom Shooting Center ATL hosted by Georgia Practical Sporting League that never disappoints. Sporting my new shirt gifted to me by my friend Adem and Amir Brass Cartel Co must have given me a +5 on my movement base last night. POV Nutrition LLC had my brain locked in and hydrated. My 2A Ammo, LLC ran flawlessly as usual and running my Walther Arms PDP SF slicked out by my team sponsor Curated Arms hit Wes up if you’d like some work done. Optic is held on strong with my Arise Manufacturing LLC Low Rider baseplate. As always to my friend and coach Déshaun Pittsburgh Jenkins thanks for the guidance and push to be great!

Less talking.
More listening.

Less guessing.
More understanding.

Every drill should answer a question.
Every rep should make you more capable.

That’s how performance is built.

Yesterday I had the privilege of teaching my Control Through Discomfort Jiu Jitsu seminar, and I just wanted to say thank you.

A huge thank you to The Academy for hosting and making me feel so welcome. I truly appreciate the opportunity.

To everyone who came out to train—thank you for spending your time with me. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people. Your energy, willingness to learn, great questions, and commitment to improving made this seminar an absolute pleasure to teach.

It’s always an honor to share what I’ve learned with others who are passionate about growing on and off the mats. I hope you left with new concepts, new details, and plenty to take back into your own training.

Thank you again for having me—I look forward to seeing everyone on the mats again soon!

Second Civilian Tactical Association Instructor camp wrapped up. Unfortunately I had a tweaked back this go round so I did my best to get some good photos of the guys. Even though you’re injured there is always a ton of information you can receive. Just keep showing up! Can’t wait until next camp in December!

Another Performance Pistol class is in the books!

We had a great group of shooters today who showed up ready to train, stayed locked in, and put in the work all day long. Thankfully the rain held off, giving us a beautiful day on the range—even if the Georgia heat made us earn it.

Today was all about refining efficiency, consistency, and accountability under pressure. The improvement throughout the day was awesome to watch.

Thank you all for being safe, focused, and giving it your all. I appreciate every one of you trusting Force Solutions with your training.

Keep training. Keep improving.
