*clears throat* ...Uh...Hello?... Hi! Checking in to deliver some good news as we wait with bated breath for the election results in this hellscape we call home. I’m still here! I’ve been working nonstop editing a backlog (years worth, yikes) of photos and completely renovating our website. We are coming! Thank you so much for your patience. As with everything this year, it has taken longer than anticipated to get back fully functional. Within the next week or so I’m planning to have the site back, with all items restocked and NEW items! Planning to officially reopen custom orders then too. If you have something already on order, it’s coming, I promise. Consider this an accountability post. I will make an announcement here and on our mailing list when we’re back in action, so look out. Thank y’all so much for your support along the way!! Remember to breathe, drink some water, take a walk around the block... we can do this.

About Rand Leather
Matthias Rand started leatherworking out of necessity– he wanted to wear leather, but found nothing that fit or felt sexy. He was a trans, fledgling Leather Q***r caught between wanting to wear a chest harness and needing to wear a chest binder; caught between knowing who he was but struggling to make people see it. Unable to find the leather he needed, he made his own– thus sparking his passion for creating custom fe**sh gear.
In 2012, Matthias launched Rand Leather with a modest offering of ready-to-wear bo***ge gear and an eagerness to create one-of-a-kind custom garments. He believes that everyone should have the right to explore their sexuality, body, and desires in a safe, non-judgemental environment. With that ideal, he has continued to expand Rand Leather’s offering of inventive bo***ge items, made-to-measure harnesses, and custom garments, ensuring there is something for every body, gender, and B**M need.
Since its founding, Rand Leather has served clients in over nineteen countries across five continents. Additionally, Rand Leather has been featured in several print and online publications, including Salacious Magazine and Sugarbutch. In 2013 and 2016, Matthias was awarded a Belvedere Grant for his leatherwork, which supports Maine College of Art alumni working in craft fields. Rand Leather wear can be found online or at B**M and sexuality conferences across the United States.
