Peace is Possible Georgia

THERE IS NO REASON FOR WAR.

We the people of this planet earth are responsible for its destiny. We look toward leaders to solve our problems. Our reliance needs to be on us, not the leaders. Us bringing hope to each other. Us lighting the way for each other.
There is no reason for war. War should not even be an option! Talk it out, settle your differences. To kill another person for a reason, for your reason, cannot be accepted, not in this day and age or ever.
Become simple, and feel the dignity. Become simple, and see what the reality is. It’s the same sun that shines over the Arab world, that shines over the Indian world, that shines over the Malaysian world, the American world, the Australian world, the Canadian world, the South American world - everywhere! It’s the same sun. We live on the same beautiful planet.
The world teaches us differences. I want to point out the similarities. Because then we can all feel dignified. We can all feel that simplicity. We can all feel each other’s burden, feel each other’s pain, and participate in each other’s passion. That is civilisation…
What you need to garner is empathy. Not sympathy. Empathy. If anything can stop the wars, it is empathy. People don’t empathise anymore. To be able to place yourself in the other person’s shoes. That doesn’t mean you agree with them. It doesn’t mean you disagree with them. Just to be able to see their viewpoint.
We don’t see their viewpoint and that’s why we fight in the name of God. We fight in the name of religion. We fight in the name of peace. We fight in the name of joy.
We fight in the name of all things that have always been held precious on the face of this earth. They have become the fighting points when they should be the saving points for our society. To empathise not only with each other but to empathise even with those animals who are losing their turf.
I see what’s happening in this world and it’s not good. It’s time we change it. The change can only begin with us. Right now we want the change to begin with other people, not us. That’s because we don’t know who we are. We are just like them. Knowing yourself has a lot of value.
Who will benefit? We will benefit. Our future generations will benefit. Their children and grandchildren will benefit. This world can be a place they can proudly call their own. I have a very, very strong feeling. If we really want this, it can be done.
