And last but not least, L.J. Is competing in Integrated Marketing Campaign for his "2 for 1 Fun Run" 5K event to raise money for the MDA and Scott Tech DECA. He is utilizing several paid and non-paid forms of promotion to attract customers. Best of luck L.J.!

Here comes Hunter! He will compete in Principles of Marketing role play, where he is given 10 minutes to solve a marketing issue within a company, and 10 minutes to present it to his judge (manager). Go Hunter!

Next up to compete is Kaylie! She will present her Integrated Marketing Plan for Harvest Church where she is doing her internship. She has created a marketing and advertising plan to help them grow and will present it to the judge, who acts as her client (the church). Way to go!

Competition day 2 - the morning is starting bright and early with Colton's Human Resources Management Role play. This event prepares him to think fast on his feet in real HR situations. Only 10 minutes to prepare a response and 10 minutes to present a solution to his manager (judge).

Competition day 1 - Ruby and Gavin present their Business Research Projects for Keen Bean Coffee and First State Bank. They have spent the school year conducting primary and secondary research on both businesses, and analyzing the results, to determine strategic performance indicators to help improve employee experiences in a feasible, yet impactful plan.Best of luck!

We left at 2:00 am, but made it to Kansas City! Ready to fly out to DECA ICDC in Atlanta!

Monett High School DECA International Competition Qualifiers, Ruby George and Hunter Laning, were regonized with a celebration tunnel at the high school this morning. The band played, peers cheered, and of course, their advisor made them wear DECA blazers. Best of luck in competition!

Intern spotlight Friday!

Kaylie is an intern from Pierce City doing marketing and social media for Harvest Church of Aurora. She built and manages their website, YouTube channel, all social media accounts, creates bulletins, flyers newsletters, announcement graphics and so much more! She has learned so much there is an integral part of their continued success. Way to go Kaylie!
