✨ Meet Catt ✨

If you don’t know Catt yet… you need to. Catt is a self‑taught seamstress and puppet maker from North Carolina who has been sewing since 2022 and building her small business ever since. She specializes in cosplay — creating incredible, hand‑crafted costumes inspired by pop culture and worn at conventions.
From designing her own concepts to 3D‑printing mask bases, to patterning and sewing the fur by hand, Catt does almost every step herself. Each piece takes dozens of hours and often includes electronics like fans, lighting, or even voice modulators.

Catt is passionate about sharing her skills, teaching others, and giving back to the community that helped her get started — and we’re so excited to have her here!

If you don’t know Keno yet, you need to! What started as a mission to fix a belt loop turned into a passion for sewing—and eventually teaching with us right here at Fabricate Studios.

With over 6 years of sewing experience and more than 13 years of teaching under his belt, Keno specializes in up‑cycling clothing and helping students build confidence at the sewing machine. His patient, encouraging teaching style makes learning fun, creative, and approachable for everyone.

If you don’t know Wini yet, you need to! She’s been crafting and creating for as long as she’s had her own spending money—and once she bought a sewing machine, there was no turning back.

After taking her first quilting class, Wini discovered exactly what her soul had been looking for. Quilting brings together her love of surface pattern design and sewing, and she’s passionate about sharing that joy with others. Quilting 101 is her favorite class to teach because there’s nothing more magical than cutting fabric apart and piecing it back together into something even more beautiful.

If you don’t know Denise yet, you need to! She brings a wealth of creativity and heart to Fabricate Studios. A retired bond judge and lifelong advocate for children, Denise now pours her energy into teaching sewing and art.

Denise loves inspiring students to explore their creativity through hands‑on sewing projects and repurposing materials into beautiful, functional pieces. Her classes blend skill‑building with sustainability—encouraging makers to see the possibilities in every stitch.

✨ Meet Thalia! ✨

If you don’t know Thalia yet, you need to! She’s been sewing professionally since 2010 (and unofficially long before that) and brings a wealth of experience to every class she teaches.

With a BFA in Fashion Design with a focus on Costume Design, Thalia’s career has taken her from stage shows to ice skating costumes—sewing miles of lycra and mesh—to film, commercials, leather sewing, and custom garment work. From sketch to final showstopper, she knows her way around garment construction and alterations inside and out.
