Tune in to Comcast Ch. 24 at ~1:30pm for today’s DCSD School Board meeting. Attached is the Superintendent’s report. This report shares a delay of F2F learning (originally planned to begin on 1/19) due to a 14.9% positivity rate, which exceeds the 10% threshold. As Covid learning updates continue to happen, please look for update emails from PCMS Interim Principal Terese Allen.

PCMS Patriot Families,
Please stay tuned for more information to follow from DCSD, but a new plan for a return to face to face learning has just been released. Please see the graphic for dates and grade level based information. Wednesday’s will remain at-home/asynchronous learning days. More information on hybrid vs. four days a week will be released as health data is reviewed. Covid cases are now being considered by positivity rate and not numbers per 100K. (See graphic for more information.)

PCMS Families & Friends: We are in great need of your help to support our incredible students, faculty, and staff.
The CV Classic is one of two major fundraisers at PCMS. Funds from the CV Classic are used to support not only basic operations and annual expenses at PCMS (classroom stipends, special curriculum, staff appreciation, teacher grants, etc.) but are also used to meet special needs that PCMS may have. This year's special needs are exceptional and unlike any other that we have experienced before.
With the CV Classic funds we will not only be able to continue to support our teachers and students though our traditional methods, but we will have the flexibility to purchase important PPE, cleaning supplies, and other needs that may arise in this COVID learning environment. Our ability to support our school during these times, in both virtual and face to face learning environments, is critical. With your support, the PCMS Foundation can remain financially stable and nimble in these trying times - able to help make sure our school can meet the dynamic needs of our learning community.
The Virtual CV Classic has a registered runner goal of 500. Today, we have approximately 150 runners who have signed up.
We need at least 350 more runners to sign up.
Meeting the goal of 500 registered runners will help us support our 1,500 students and 170 staff members at PCMS.
Together we can meet and exceed our goal. Please, share this race on your social media. Encourage family, friends, and neighbors to sign up and support PCMS. The great thing about a virtual run, is that even family and friends across our county and world can join in the fun.
Please click on the link below, sign up and share out! Let's get to 500 runners!
