Still reflecting on the beauty of the Art & Jazz Gala ๐โจ
So grateful to stand alongside Anisa Palmer and the incredible community of I Will Survive, Inc.. Your work continues to uplift, support, and pour love into the lives of cancer survivors in such a powerful way.
It was truly an honor to offer prayer and meditation in a space filled with resilience, joy, and healing. Moments like these remind me that when we come together with intention, we create something sacred.
Thank you, Anisa, for your leadership, your heart, and your commitment to this work. Iโm grateful for the partnership and all that is to come. ๐ซ

There is power in pausingโฆ together.
In the quiet, we remember what it feels like to simply be, without pressure, without performance. Just breath, presence, and shared humanity.
Peace. This is what we practice.

Nurturing Moment: Take a deep breath and reflect on a real or imagined experience that makes you feel calm, comforted, or at ease.
This morning, I was blessed to facilitate an online meditation as a certified instructor of Cognitively-Based Compassion Training (CBCT), developed by Dr. Lobsang Tenzin Negi. The online meditation takes place through the Compassion U app, a streamlined approach to curriculum delivery that allows participants from all over the world to attend a drop-in class with a certified instructor after each module.
During this morning's class, we explored the meditative mindfulness practice of calling to mind a real or imagined experience of calm, protection, comfort, safety, at ease, warmth, grounding, or centering. The practice is the catalyst for motivating us to respond to ourselves and others with compassion.
At the end of class, students shared one word that came to mind during our practice. Some of the words students shared are listed below. Now, as I come to the close of this nurturing moment, I invite you to take time to reflect on what brings you happiness, joy, and peace, and notice how it makes you feel on the inside. I also encourage you to share your one word.
Student responses: safe, calm, trust, warm-hearted, satisfied
