I knew I wanted to work with moms and babies since the third grade. 🤍

Even though my initial plan was to be the doctor who took babies out of their mom’s tummy… I ended up on a mother-baby unit as a postpartum nurse and I absolutely loved it.

I spent every shift pouring into my patients, maybe a little too much, according to my director. 😄

She called me into her office one day and said something I’ll never forget.

You’ll hear all of it in Part 2. Follow me so you don’t miss it. 👀

Do these in weeks 1 to 2 to protect your milk supply👇🏾

Feed early. Feed often. Don't skip feeds, and don't let too much time pass between sessions. Every time milk is removed, your body gets the message to make more. 🙌🏾

And don't forget, YOU need to be taken care of too. Eat, rest, and talk to a lactation consultant if something doesn't feel right. Early support can prevent bigger problems down the road.

Preparation gives you confidence, clarity, and a smoother start.

In my prenatal breastfeeding class we cover everything you need to feel ready:

✔️ How to latch properly
✔️ Feeding cues
✔️ Pumping
✔️ Partner support
✔️ Protecting your milk supply, and so much more.

So that when your baby arrives you feel prepared, not panicked.

If you’re 36 weeks pregnant and planning to breastfeed, this is for you!👇🏾

Breastfeeding is natural But it is NOT always intuitive. ❌

Because Your body is designed to do this doesn’t mean it will feel easy at first and waiting until your baby arrives to figure it out is not the best move.

With over 20 years of experience working with moms and babies as a lactation consultant and CPR instructor, I have seen firsthand what preparation does for new parents, it changes everything.💜

If you are expecting and want to feel truly prepared, my prenatal breastfeeding class was made for you.

Inside you will learn:

✔️ What normal breastfeeding actually looks like

✔️ How to set yourself up for success before baby arrives

✔️ What to do (so you are not confused or misinformed)

Preparation changes everything.

Your baby is already communicating with you, you just have to learn their language. 🍼

Feeding cues are your baby's way of saying "I'm hungry", and the earlier you catch them, the calmer feeding feels.

Not there yet? Give yourself grace. Motherhood is a journey, and so is learning your baby's cues. 🤍

If you're expecting and want to feel truly confident and ready before your baby arrives, from feeding cues to newborn care and so much more you need to be in my upcoming prenatal class. 💜

If you’ve ever wondered how often you should feed your newborn, then this post is for you. 👇🏾 Those early weeks can feel relentless, and there’s a reason for that. A newborn’s stomach is tiny, breast milk digests quickly, and your body is still learning to build a supply. Frequent feeds aren’t a sign that something is wrong, they’re actually exactly what’s supposed to happen. 🤱🏾 Understanding the why behind it all can make those early days feel so much less overwhelming.

Breastmilk and formula are not the same and parents deserve to understand why.

This isn’t about guilt, pressure or shame.

It’s about making informed decisions for your baby with the right support.

Whether you’re planning to breastfeed, combo feed, or use formula, guidance in those early days can make all the difference.

You don’t have to figure it out alone 💛

Do pacifiers cause ni**le confusion? 👶🏽🤱🏽 Well let’s talk about it!

Using one too early can mask feeding cues and impact your milk supply. That’s why support in those early days is everything!

If something feels off with feeding, don’t wait.

If you’re navigating breastfeeding, pacifiers, or newborn feeding challenges, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
