This could be super helpful for parts of recently diagnosed kids!
Did you know that we offer a "What is Dyslexia" webinar for groups? In this 90-minute webinar, participants explore the signs and symptoms of dyslexia and address common myths and misconceptions. The session clarifies what dyslexia is—and what it is not—while outlining the essential components of effective intervention. Attendees also learn practical strategies that general education teachers can use to support struggling readers in the classroom.

🌟 Tutor Spotlight: Abigail Bowes! 🌟
Say hello to Abigail Bowes, a teacher whose passion for education was first ignited by seeing its power to unlock a world of opportunities! With two decades of experience and a strong foundation from her special education degree, she brings a wealth of knowledge to every session.
Her greatest joy is witnessing her students' “Aha” moments. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing their faces light up as they connect concepts learned in the classroom to real world experiences. These moments reaffirm the impact that education, and teaching, can have on a person’s life.
Abigail specializes in Reading, Writing and the Orton Gillingham approach for students in 4th-8th grade, she also tutors math through 6th grade. She is trained in Wilson Language Systems and Just Words and has experience as a Special Education Reading Teacher and a teacher for homebound students.
