A little 2-day corporate gig in an old haunt to continue the busy month of May. Another one courtesy of 4Wall Atlanta .

The main training center for US soccer is now in Atlanta, courtesy of a purpose-built facility by Arthur Blank (pictured). Thanks to Rival Entertainment and 4Wall Atlanta for letting me be part of the grand opening.

This is my 4th (or is it 5th?) year helping Diversified Production Services do this show for iHeartRadio . Thanks to 4Wall Atlanta for having me on the gig.

It's been a long - but very good - two weeks in the General Session. First down to Orlando to prep, then two days of load in, rehearsals, and 4 busy show days with multiple award shows, keynotes and panels. Great clients, cool content, and of course a fantastic crew by PRG North America . After last year in Dallas, it was nice to welcome them to my hometown - hope to see everyone in Anaheim next year!

Watching a little College GameDay at the office this morning.
Don't tell the good folks at AVmedia, Inc. (who were kind enough to bring me back for a 5th year) that I was doing a bit of the fanboy thing.

Honored to be providing AV for the Community Farmers Markets' "Red Clay Soiree". It's farm-to-table gone high class, y'all.

Today's office, the second of four days here. Really glad to be working with https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063552791377 , new friends out of Memphis (thanks for the referral https://m.facebook.com/abner.showgroup/ ). Also really glad to see old friends The Icebox here at the vendor fair. It's a plethora of friends!

Backstage view of the gig today. On stage, things are calm, clean and worthy of attention. Back here, we keep it all moving forward. Big thanks to PRG North America for letting me be part of the team.

I did a bit of East Atlanta Strutin' yesterday in Brownwood Park . It's annually one of the most involved and rewarding shows I do, letting me use my skills as audio engineer, project manager, labor and logistics coordinator, budget analyst and safari guide. It's a long day with weeks of painstaking planning, but it's incredibly gratifying to be able to contribute to this beloved event in my "home" community.
The pic is from sound check with Girl Saint, one of four bands I mixed on this stage (plus a battle of the marching bands, and an elementary school choir), in addition to providing equipment and staff for two other stages, and the only photo I remembered to take all day.
Big thanks to Atlanta Sound and Lighting who provided valuable (way beyond call) gear and morale support; Billy Bolton , Sawyer Gray, and Darrian Bristow for buckets of sweat equity in the truck and behind the console; Jeanne Fore for keeping us on the rails when things got squirrelly; the performers who played their hearts out for the audience but were a pleasure work with on stage; the many, many volunteers who donate so much of their time and energy to make this a vibrant and attractive festival (especially those that helped me load out when I had nothing left); and of course: the Mayor, Monarch, and Sargeant-Major of EAV, Michelle Rice, who breathes life into this every year, and is a fundamental reason why East Atlanta is still the best neighborhood in Atlanta.
