Due to inclement weather, the 2024 Family Funfest, originally located at Lakewood Stadium, will now take place at Whitefoord Early Learning Academy located at 35 Whitefoord Ave Atlanta GA 30317. We are operating out of an abundance of caution to ensure the best event with everyone's safety and comfort in mind. We are all excited and anticipate a fun-filled day so put on your rainboots and join us at the new venue! 🙂 Below is a sneak peak of the planned activities:
Bounce House, games/prizes, face painting, FREE Chic fil-a, Kona Ice, Bike give-a-ways, FREE transition learning pack, FREE books, FREE Health screenings, Freddie the Falcon (Atlanta Falcon's mascot), photo booth, vendors, resources, information and much much more! We look forward to seeing you there!

Great things come from strong partnerships!

This week, the Atlanta School Board approved a plan to provide child care scholarships to eligible Atlanta Public Schools employees.

This allocation of funds from Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens' $20 million Early Education Initiative represents a bold commitment to support early learning in Atlanta. It will give these parents and caregivers the confidence and stability to maintain their mission-critical APS positions, improve their job performance, and reduce their absenteeism.

Led by GEEARS, PAACT is proud to have been the foundation behind Mayor Dickens’ initiative, and we’re thrilled that our partner, Quality Care for Children, will disseminate $4.5 million for the scholarships over the next three years.
