Summer means sunshine and camp, but it also means... move-up season! 🌞➡️🍎

Some of our littlest friends are saying goodbye to their "baby" classes and getting ready for their big kid rooms—think toddler to preschool. It's a big deal, and our teachers are determined to make it as fun (not scary) as possible.

This week, our friends moving from Red Apples (Toddler 2) to Yellow Apples (Preschool) got to decorate their move-up banner with their own tiny handprints. 🖐️🎨

Shoutout to amazing teachers like Ms. Lanasia who go above and beyond to make every transition feel like a celebration. Because growing up should always feel this good.

Rainy days won't stop us from gardening! 🌧️🌱

Over at AKW Loganville, our Beets class (Toddler 2) has been bringing the planting indoors. With all the rain we've been getting, we decided to get creative and do some in-classroom gardening instead.

Little hands, little seeds, big excitement. We can't wait to see what grows! 💚

School's out for summer, and our school-aged kiddos are already taking full advantage of it! ☀️🎒

This week, we've had:
♟️ Intense games of checkers
🏰 Blanket forts that somehow used every single chair in the classroom
📖 A very special visit from the mayor, who stopped by to read to them

It has been the perfect way to blow off some end-of-school-year steam before things kick into high gear.

Next week, we hop right into our June summer themes, and we couldn't be more excited. But for now? We're just soaking up the joy of summer freedom.

Summer camp is almost here at AKW Covington, and our June theme is Nature Explorers! 🌿🌊🌍

Starting next week, our kiddos will be exploring all about the ocean, rainforest, farm, and safaris.
