The Young Atlanta Retail Alliance exists to help young real estate professionals grow their careers though educational programs and networking events. Our programs focus on providing our members with knowledge, contacts and the direction needed to help the retail community create the real estate leaders of the future. We seek to engage our members in active events that will expand their influence
and provide a fun atmosphere for furthering their personal career goals. YARA was formed around retail real estate and will continue to grow with a focus on this industry. Our speakers and educational events will revolve around retail and speak to an audience of young professionals in retail. However, the retail focus allows us to draw young professionals from other industries that seek to network with and learn from retail professionals. The rise of mixed-use developments has increased the need for people within the office, residential, and industrial sectors to understand the ground level and front door retail that is often a significant driver of such projects. Conversely, young retail professionals will also have the opportunity to learn about those components while socializing at a YARA event. Every event attendee will be able to have open dialogue about opportunities that can be created within and across industry borders. One of the many unique aspects of YARA is, and will forever be, free to join and free to participate.
