I’m incredibly honored and excited to officially step into the role of 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗶𝘀𝗴𝗮𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹!

With over 20 years of experience working with young athletes, my mission has always been to empower, inspire, and develop strong, confident young women through the game of basketball. This new journey with Mount Pisgah is the perfect opportunity to continue that work in a community that values passion, purpose, and excellence—both on and off the court.
As the founder of Peak Performance Sports & Development Foundation, I’ve had the privilege of helping over 1,200 female student-athletes and watching 170+ earn NCAA scholarships, totaling $9M+ in funding. I bring that same energy and vision to this program.

The goal remains the same:

PEAK GIRL IN THE NEWS:
Maya Longacre is an associate at Elarbee Thompson specializing in employment law with a focus on employment litigation, business-related litigation, employment defense, employment discrimination, and labor relations.

Maya earned her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, graduating magna cm laude in 2024.

Before pursuing her legal career, Maya graduated cm laude from Rhodes College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2021. As a four-year student-athlete on the Women’s Basketball Team, Maya honed her discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills, qualities she brings to her legal practice today.

PEAK GIRL IN THE NEWS: I had the pleasure of meeting with former PEAK Girl, Sophia d'Oliveiria this morning to learn more about her Program/Platform to support youth athletes and their mental health as they navigate sports and life!

Sophia was crowned Miss Peach State and will represent Georgia in the National Pagent in July!

Sophia, a former D1 basketball player has a powerful message for young people! Follow her!

CONGRATULATIONS to the PEAK Performance 7th/8th Grade South Georgia Team, for winning the 8th Grade Division Championship off the GBL Capital City Challenge in Tallahassee Florida, this pst weekend!

This team, under the leadership of Coach Drew Copeland and Coach Morgan Sykes, has continued to improve and gel as a Team this season!

Great job Team!
