Comprehensive Behavior Change (CBC) specializes in providing behavior analytic services to students in schools across the state of Georgia. We are looking for a Behavior Analyst to join our small and mighty team! Please reach out with any questions you have.

Important information to know about CBC and this role:

*We are currently looking for someone who has completed their BCBA.

*Over 75% of our work is with clients who have/had problem behavior. Experience working with individuals with problem behavior is a requirement.

*All of our services are paid for and agreed upon with school districts. Experience working in schools and with school-based staff is highly recommend.

*We are currently looking for someone interested in part-time hours. We have flexibility on when those hours can be, during the time we are typically providing services (i.e., M-F between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM). There is a possibility to increase to full time hours.

*We serve school districts across the state, therefore driving longer distances (up to two hours) to clients will sometimes be necessary. Travel time for longer distances are paid at 50% of your hourly rate.

*The core values of CBC are to a) always put our clients first, b) work as a team with each other, school staff, and parents, c) continually work on becoming better behavior analysts, and d) have fun!

Dr. Jennifer Ledford, professor at Vanderbilt University, has created an online resource for practitioners working with young children with disabilities. The website is jam packed with written procedures, data sheets, instructional videos, and downloadable "cheat sheets" for a wide variety of skills, all in an easy to read format. Check it out to learn more about evidence-based approaches to teaching communication, social skills, toileting, and many others.

Functional behavioral assessments (FBA) are often conducted unreliably in schools by using only interviews and/or ABC data to determine why a student is engaging in challenging behavior. A functional analysis (FA) is a reliable assessment method to understand why the student's problem behavior is occurring.
