Labor Day Closing Reminder

Southern Crescent Technical College will be closed Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day. All campuses and locations will be closed, and regular operations will resume on Tuesday, September 8.

As we celebrate Labor Day, we honor the dedication and contributions of workers across our communities and beyond.

We are so proud of Victoria Johnson, a student at Southern Crescent Technical College, for making the most of her summer internship with Fayette County Public Works! Victoria gained valuable hands-on experience exploring planning and engineering, attending Planning Commission meetings, learning AutoCAD, and working alongside professionals across the county.

Her commitment to growth extends beyond the workplace—Victoria is also actively involved on campus as an SGA officer and a member of FBLA Collegiate and the Rotaract Club. We are proud to see Victoria representing SCTC through her leadership, curiosity, and dedication to learning.

We had a great group of summer interns working at Fayette County Government. A few of these students shared their experience with us. Many thanks to Fayette County Public Schools Georgia Tech, and Southern Crescent Technical College for allowing us to spend the summer with these excellent students! Link in comments.
