Want to learn to write a screenplay? You've come to the right place.

A lot of screenwriting teachers claim to teach what you need to make it in the movie biz – but how many of them have actually done it? Michael has penned more then twenty feature screenplays for Paramount, Disney, DreamWorks, Fox and Universal, including Vampire in Brooklyn, Home On the Range and Spirit, which won the Academy Award in 2002 as best animated feature. Michael will teach you how to go from first idea to first sale – the way only an experienced screenwriter can do it.

Join us Saturday!

May's Monthly Chapter Meeting will be held virtually this Saturday, May 9th starting at 11a via Zoom. Our topic is "The Art of Adaptation - How to Turn Your Novel into a Screenplay to Sell" and will be presented by screenwriter and author Michael Lucker

MICHAEL LUCKER began writing songs for girls he had crushes on in the fourth grade. It nearly worked, so he went on to write articles for the school paper, plays for the drama club, and commercials for the cable station. After graduating from Boston University’s College of Communication, fate and a Mercury Capri took him to Los Angeles, where he somehow landed a job as an assistant to Steven Spielberg before embarking on a career writing movies for Disney, DreamWorks, Paramount, Fox, and Universal.
