Twenty years of marriage with my best friend. For better or worse. In sickness and health. For richer or poorer. Today I am at the hospital having a left and right heart catheterization. Kweku is right by my side. I am fine. We celebrated over the weekend.

Now that we are in 2026 it is time to plan for this year. I encourage you to make a vision board. Write down your desires, take pictures, dress it up with sequence, letters, sparkles, and glitter things that will make it stand out. Put it in a place that you will look at every day. Your mind will start to work on, manifesting those things that it sees on a daily basis. The subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between reality and fiction, and so it works to accomplish those things. you can have anything you put your mind to, if you do the work. I wish you many blessings and great success this year. Feel free to share what your goals are if you would like.
Do you know what SAD is? Seasonal Affective Disorder. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that follows a seasonal pattern—most commonly appearing in the fall and winter months when daylight decreases. People may notice mood changes, lower energy, sleep disruption, or increased emotional sensitivity. While SAD impacts many people, individuals living with chronic illness or recovering from major medical procedures—such as organ transplant—may be even more vulnerable due to stress, fatigue, and lifestyle changes.
Common Symptoms
Low mood or sadness most of the day
Fatigue or low energy
Increased sleep or trouble waking up
Changes in appetite or weight
Loss of interest in activities
Difficulty concentrating
Feeling hopeless or overwhelmed.
