Today we celebrated our incredible fifth graders as they took their final walk through Dorsett Shoals Elementary halls. 💙🐾
These students are leaving us with big dreams, kind hearts, and bright futures ahead. While their dreams may be soaring high, what’s even sweeter is knowing their potential to make a difference is limitless.
We have watched them learn, grow, laugh, lead, and become the amazing young people they are today. Though it’s hard to say goodbye, we are so proud to cheer them on as they take this next big step.
Once a Panther, always a Panther. Fifth graders, your journey is just beginning—and we can’t wait to see all the incredible places it takes you. 🎓✨

"Hey, Panthers! 🐾 My name is Chloe Knight, and I’m thrilled to join the Dorsett Shoals family this fall!
I’m graduating this month with my degree in Elementary Education. Having taught and worked in five different West Georgia counties (including right here in Douglas!), I can’t wait to get started in my own classroom.
I’m getting married in June, so come August, I’ll be known as Mrs. Gammon! When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me reading, playing board games, or enjoying a long walk.
I am so ready to help my students learn and grow! Go Panthers! 🍎✨"
