Hello everybody,
This has been a very busy Tuesday, got up this morning. Looking forward to the test that I mentioned yesterday. I had a right heart Cath along with a biopsy of the new heart. To repeat, a Cath is a test that they go in through an order in your neck and check all the pressures being produced by your heart in your lungs along with different movement of fluids and volumes of fluids. I’m sure there’s more detail to it, but that’s the basics. The wonderful part is all my numbers were exactly where they wanted them so I passed that part of the test. The second part of the test was the heart biopsy, the quick look says they didn’t see any rejection but official numbers will come from the lab in about 12 to 24 hours. We will wait for those results to come soon.
I still have one more procedure to remove the defibrillator that I’ve had for a few years. It’s already shut off and disconnected. They just have to have it removed.
I had three visitors today, my mom, my sister, and my cousin Lori. They brought lunch for me and we really enjoyed some time together. I was only interrupted with about 10 different professionals while they we’re here, lol.
The rest of my day has just been working on recuperating from the procedures, having my dinner, and I did get in one walk today for half a mile. Overall, I feel very good. Assuming everything will go as planned. There is a good potential for going home this Thursday or Friday. I am extremely excited to be home and with my family.
