Annette Winn Elementary hosted an impactful Black History Trail, bringing the community together to celebrate the achievements and
contributions of African Americans.
The evening featured student art displays, music, storytelling and special performances by the Alexander High School West African Drumming Club.
A evening highlight was the Annual LIving Wax Museum where students brought historical figures to life.
It was a powerful evening of learning, reflection, and celebration for our entire school community.

We are so excited to celebrate Read Across America Week again this year with Spirit Dress-up days, guest readers, and few other surprises.
Launched in 1998, Read Across America is the nation’s largest annual reading celebration, held on or around March 2nd to motivate children to read, promote literacy, and highlight diverse books.
