Holiday Prep Helper Station (aka how I survived last December)

If your house looks anything like mine right now, there’s wrapping paper on the counter, tape stuck to the dog, and someone is always asking for a snack. So here’s my new sanity-saver… and the kids LOVE it.

✨ I set up a tiny “Holiday Helper Station” so the kiddos can have their own special role while I try to remember where I hid the scissors.

Here’s what we added:
✔️ Kid-safe scissors, tape, crayons, gift tags, and stickers so they can decorate tags or “sign” cards
✔️ Scraps of wrapping paper and ribbons for practice wrapping stuffed animals (10/10 entertainment)
✔️ A bin of reusable bits like yarn, paper scraps, and old holiday cards for spark-anywhere creativity

And the best part:
💡 Each day they choose one little “helper job” like organizing bows or putting cards into envelopes.
They feel important, I get five uninterrupted minutes, and somehow the holiday chaos actually feels fun.

Highly recommend. Moms and nannies, we’re all in this together. 💛✨

Instructions:
