Assistant Principal Mrs. AC came into Mrs. Brown’s classroom to teach a math lesson focused on place value. During the lesson, students practiced reaing and writing four-digit numbers and demonstrated their understanding of the value of each digit. Students actively participated in creating a human place value chart and worked collaboratively to build the largest and smallest possible numbers. They also practiced comparing two numbers and determining which number was greater or less. Throughout the lesson, students demonstrated their understanding of representing numbers in standard form, word form, and expanded form.
