As an executive director, professor, consultant, school psychologist, author and business owner my purpose in life is to empower leaders to yield results and outcomes, while building the culture and climate of the organization (and the people). I believe that people have the ability to love coming to work; however, it is the responsibility of the leaders to create a welcoming and safe culture for

employees to do so. My research focuses on implicit bias and the impact bias has decision making, problem solving, and expectations for the people we serve. My heart’s desire is to leave a person, a situation, or a place better than I found it.
