Sup?

It’s been a minute since I’ve re-introduced myself , but with a big influx of families joining the EBSleep crew— I thought it might be nice to say hi! 👋🏻 This is a little glimpse into our family over the summer! These kiddos are getting BIG right??? Don’t worry, I’m still taller than them… for now.

Those of you who have been here for a while know that I’m pretty much the worst at social media— with a lot of hot and cold streaks. I pretty much hate the pressure of it all AND I have no self control to stay focused when I’m on here. So— I usually stick to talking 1:1 with families AND sending out emails/resource guides to help families tackle specific sleep issues. If that interests you— be sure to sign up for the emails in my bio.

If you’re just here for a casual toe-dippin’, I’ll see if I can remember to post a little more and get to know yall a little better… deal?

Welcome to the club.

From “at a complete loss and very exhausted “ to “regulated and a lot more rested. Most importantly, HAPPY”.

So, pretty much why I do this job. Mic drop 🎤

WHY you SHOULD go to bed as soon as baby does for the night:

1) Baby's first stretch is usually the longest stretch of the night
2) Your first stretch of sleep is usually dense in DEEP sleep which is designed to restore the BODY
3) IF you can get those two to line up together, you will likely feel MORE well rested in the morning time, even if you do have a couple of night wakings to work around.

If you need to get things done ( ), do them during the day and then take a little cat nap if you are able to! That will help you get by until next night time!

And yes I know all about revenge bedtime procrastination (delayed sleep to meet other needs) — BUT if we are really trying to serve ourselves well as parents, take a moment and ask yourself if sleep isn’t one of the most important needs right now. Seriously, vacuuming can wait.

If you are feeling like your mind is on constant overdrive, factoring in all the things and how they relate to your child's sleep, you might be the Default Sleep Parent.

A phrase many are familiar with, but have you ever stopped to really think about how many things relate to your child's sleep? Have you found that either you or your partner are the one who shoulders most of the weight when it comes to a successful bedtime in your home? It is ok to want to lift the weight and share the work.

Link in Bio for my newest FREEBIE coming out Wednesday on how to SHARE THE WORK at bedtime!
