Y’all… I cried in the car when it was over because I know everything Harper has faced this year. When I tell you this baby worked HARD, she truly did! 💪🏿✨
She wrapped up her 1st grade year with:🏆 A/B Honor Roll📚 AR Reader Award⭐ Toco Award📈 Highest Math Growth in her class
In August, she started the school year with a 61% in Math and finished with an 82%! 🔥📈
Not only that, but she scored ABOVE 1st grade level in BOTH Math and Reading on the MAP Test! 🙌🏿📚➕

The Friday before Mother’s Day, your girl Ms. P. was hit with COVID… and this morning, I wrapped up the funeral services for one of my childhood friends. These last few days have truly been a whirlwind. 💔🙏🏿
But through it all, God has been so faithful. One lesson I’m continuing to learn is to live in the moment. ❤️
Today, Saturday, May 16th, Harper said, “Mommy, we gotta make this TikTok!” 😂 We already had so many funny clips recorded, and she kept saying how much fun she was having. So we went for it!
Our first mommy-daughter dance video isn’t perfect and honestly, neither are we. But the memories, laughter, and joy in this moment made it worth it. 🫶🏿✨
Life has a way of reminding you to smile, dance, and hold your loved ones a little closer even in the middle of hard days.
