Association of St. Augustine Alumni – Atlanta, Inc. connects Purple Knights across generations to support St. Augustine High School.

Through scholarships, service, and signature events, we celebrate brotherhood, culture, and fundraising with purpose.

They came all the way from New Orleans, Louisana to the HBCU Football Combine for an opportunity. @rso.zy said he and his dad saw our post with our Founder @taprice on Tuesday and booked a flight to come on Friday and guess what he may get an offer. He received a “green wristband” to come back Saturday! #weareheretoserve 🙏🏽#hbcu #football #combine #recruitment

Look at Howard U coach in the back. Maybe another offer 🤗 04/29/2026

He’s not guaranteed anything.

No offers. No spotlight. No promises.

Just a young man from New Orleans… showing up, putting himself in position, and chasing an opportunity to earn a scholarship at an HBCU.

This is the grind. This is the sacrifice.

This is why we do what we do.
Supporting our young men at St. Augustine isn’t just tradition...It’s responsibility.

From New Orleans to Atlanta… the mission is still the mission.

"Rise Sons" 💜💛✊🏽

Every year, we host our signature Mardi Gras Ball and call on the support of sponsors who believe in our mission and they continue to show up in a major way.

We are truly grateful for our long standing partners, KIA and 755 Restaurant Group, who continue to pour into our organization year after year. That kind of consistency does not go unnoticed.

This year, our liquor sponsors IslandJon Vodka, Reyalibre Tequila, Aplomo Tequila, and Greenwood Whiskey set the tone early with a tasting experience before the Ball even began. They did more than show up, they showed out.

Also, for your continued support over the past few years. Your partnership means a lot to us, and we truly appreciate all that you do.

We were also proud to welcome new sponsors Grady Health System and Camille Rose to the family. Thank you for aligning with our purpose and investing in what we do.

Special shoutout to Camille Rose for the gift bags. They made sure our guests did not leave empty handed. Thoughtful, classy, and right on brand.
Bottom line, this event does not happen without our sponsors.

If you support us and believe in our mission, we ask one thing. Support the brands that support us.

Now you know.

The photos from the St. Aug Mardi Gras Ball are in… and they are 🔥

Our 21st Annual Ball is officially in the books, and once again, it was a success. What could have been a major setback with the ice storm turned into a blessing in disguise. We were able to regroup, reschedule, and still deliver a powerful night that supports our mission to give back to St. Augustine High School in a big way.

That’s what resilience looks like.

It was a night to remember, and trust me—we’re already looking ahead. Planning for the 2027 Mardi Gras Ball will be kicking off sooner than you think.
So go ahead, enjoy the photos… and start getting ready. Next year will be here before you know it.

Stay tuned.

A few of us brothers from the St. Augustine Alumni Chapter here in Atlanta decided to link up at the Po’Boy Shop and grab a little gumbo, some crawfish, shrimp, and hot sausage po’boys. Just a quick catch-up and some good fellowship before the Ball.

We had Purple Knights in the house from the classes of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Always good when the generations come together like that. Brotherhood, laughter, and a little taste of New Orleans right here in Atlanta. 💜💛
