Next up, say hello to ✨PGY3 Callie Ray✨!
Hometown: Perry, Georgia
Medical school: Medical College of Georgia
Why Emory? I have lived in Georgia my whole life and considered branching out for residency but felt so at home during my interview that I could not see myself anywhere else. I get to see unique and interesting patients daily under the guide of down-to-earth and incredibly talented upper levels, fellows, and attendings. Atlanta is not only a city that is close to family and friends for me but also one that is incredibly diverse and perfect for people like me that love so socialize and explore.
Favorite thing to do in Atlanta: The Works! Or walking around Blackburn Park
Favorite restaurant in Atlanta: Fudo or Cafe Bombay
Future career goals/research interests: I hope to work in general pediatric neurology but especially love cases and topics in neurodevelopment and neuropsych.
