Terminus Archaeological Research is an Atlanta, Georgia-based independent consulting LLC.

The company name was chosen in honor of Atlanta's original designation of 'Terminus' - the terminal point of three railroad lines. While this was the end point of these three lines, it was also a meeting point, a meeting point that led, largely unexpectedly, to the creation of an entirely new type of urban entity.
