A circa 1960 Asian Modern two-part breakfront consisting of a china cabinet atop a credenza, manner of James Mont. Each finished in satin black lacquer; the upper cabinet having glazed doors flanking a central fixed glaze panel and opening to reveal two full-width shelves routed with a plate rail. A modern pagoda-form crest rail anchors the Asian flare of the credenza base having five doors, each with elaborate brass escutcheons, resting upon stylized Ming-style legs. Two doors open to reveal a substantial drawer over an open storage compartment while the remaining three, two joined as a bi-fold, open to a storage compartment with shelf. The satin black lacquer finish continues throughout, perfectly accented by the bold brass hardware.

An 18th century Italian Baroque commode of bombé form having beautifully detailed marquetry and original finely cast brasses. A substantial marble top in shades of black, gold, green, and alabaster is the perfect finish for this great statement piece. Original key included.

French Empire Revival Sofa or Settee, Late 19th Century
A fine sofa in mahogany, elegantly curved with saber legs. Sophisticated 1950s upholstery in salmon features a Chinese motif embroidered in a deeper shade of salmon. Fabric remains in good condition with consistent color. Warm mahogany finish is lustrous by and beautiful.
