Been quiet for a reason.
Sometimes you’ve got to build in silence so the results make the noise.

The next play? FAST BREAK.
4 weeks. High intensity. Real results.

No filler. No fluff. Just strategy, culture, and reps that move the score and the mindset.

Seats are limited — book your scholar’s spot today.
DM or text/call the number posted for details.

Rooted in culture. Backed by strategy.

A parent recently told me:

“We’re just waiting to figure out next steps.”

And I get it.
Waiting feels wise.
Safe. Responsible.

But what I’ve seen—over and over—is that waiting quietly robs families of momentum.
Deadlines creep up.
Opportunities slip away.
And by senior year, the pressure’s on full blast.

That’s why I teach strategy.
Because peace of mind doesn’t come from reacting.
It comes from preparing—while the options are still wide.

📲 DM “SCORE” and I’ll help you map out a plan that meets you where you are.
Not where you think you’re supposed to be.

Let’s stop waiting.
Let’s start building.

Last week, we said: read the final sentence first.
This week? Let’s level it up.

Sometimes, that last line is a twist.

✅ It might reframe the whole argument
✅ It might complicate the tone
✅ It might drop a rhetorical mic that changes the main idea

🧠 Example:
Let’s say the passage is about AI and job loss.
It’s mostly cautionary. But then ends with:
“Still, with the right guardrails, AI could become the most powerful tool for human advancement in the next century.”

Boom. A final note of optimism.
And now the author’s purpose hits different.

Most families wait until it’s too late.

They think senior year is when the clock starts ticking—but by then?
The real scholarships are gone.
The test dates are tight.
And panic sets in.

❌ $5,000 last-minute tutoring
❌ Missed full-ride deadlines
❌ Scrambling for “any school that’s affordable”

That’s why I posted this on LinkedIn—because the real deadlines aren’t listed on websites.
They’re cultural. Strategic. Invisible to families who were never handed the playbook.

📣 Don’t wait until Fall.
DM “SCORE” and I’ll help you build a test prep plan that’s proactive—not panicked.

Let’s make timing part of the strategy.
And strategy? That’s where equity lives.

Same message. Different delivery.

Slide 2 speaks in research. Slide 3 speaks from the heart.
But both demand we invest in our kids.

This week’s is all about tone—how writers show attitude, urgency, and purpose through their voice.

Whether you’re test-taking or truth-telling, knowing how something is said is just as powerful as what’s being said.

You know how people say start strong, finish stronger?
Well on the SAT… sometimes you should finish first.

👀 Before you dive into a long passage, scroll to the end.
That last sentence often drops the main idea or the author’s real purpose.

📈 Smarter reads = higher scores
🎯 Better predictions = better answers

💬 Try it on your next passage. Did it help?
DM “MARKUP” if you want drills that make this tip second nature.

📣 SAT parents + students:
You don’t need a perfect score.
You need a strategy—one that gets you to the number that unlocks scholarships.

📲 DM “SCORE” and let’s map it out.
Your score goal. Your timeline. Your plan.

Sometimes the most important thing we can do as educators isn’t giving students all the answers.

It’s seeing them early.

Tanesha was my student back in 7th and 8th grade. I wasn’t her college counselor. I wasn’t her test prep tutor.

I was simply one of the adults who got to witness who she was becoming.

Now she’s a Spelman graduate, heading to Columbia University for her master’s.

She said something that stuck with me:

“You don’t have to show up with all the answers, but you do have to show up rooted in something real.”

That’s why I built this work.
SAT prep, scholarships, college strategy — yes.
But more importantly:
spaces where students are fully seen, fully equipped, and fully themselves.

The score is just the beginning.
The marathon continues. 🏁
