Congrats to these students who’ll be performing with the Georgia District 4 honor band. They’re 13 of the top 100 middle school band students in DeKalb, Rockdale, Newton, Morgan, Butts, and Jasper counties!
Maddie will be moving on to audition at the state level in January where they’ll pick the top 200 students from across the entire state. Good luck!

Back in March our very own Alex was selected to be apart of the Georgia All State Band. Thousands of students auditioned and he earned a spot among this elite group of musicians. Congrats Alex and way to represent the Druid Hills community!

Our 6th grade band went to the Southern Star Music Festival at Six Flags ! It’s always a great time

Our 7th and 8th grade band orchestra and chorus went down to Universal Studios. We performed and Learned about being studio a studio musician and foley artist while having a good time!

The jazz band performed at Our feeder elementary school Fernbank’s music concert tonight featuring the 4th & 5th grade Bands and Choruses. 100+ future DHMS Dragon band members! Great job everyone!
