Thanks to everyone who came out to our New Alumni Happy Hour at Ormsby’s. It was great reconnecting with folk across the years and starting talks on fall alumni boats 👀. Be on the lookout for future meetups this summer!

We are proud to announce that our very own Varsity Men’s head coach, Tim Pierce, has been named ACRA Men’s Southern Regional Coach of the Year! He joins GT Crew coaches Mike Gibel (2017, 2019) and Rob Canavan (2009) as winners of this award.
Coach Tim has been instrumental in growing our team these past few years, expanding the Varsity Men’s squad from just seven rowers in 2022, to a squad large enough to field three 8+s and a Lightweight 4+ this past weekend at ACRA. His constant hard work and dedication keeps the team alive, and we are grateful to have him as our coach.

On September 5th, Georgia Tech Crew will officially dedicate our newest shell, the Debbie Permenter, honoring a founding member and the first coach of the team. While in 1990 we welcomed the Deborah McKenna into the fleet which was subsequently renamed to the Tracey McKenna, we haven't had a shell in our fleet recognizing Debbie since it was lost in the '96 trailer crash.
In addition to recognizing all that Debbie gave to the team, we will also celebrate the life of Jeff Woodard. His teammates have donated a seat in his memory, inscribed with his nickname. Join us in celebrating these key figures in GT Crew history and commemorating the impact they had on the program.
RSVP via the link in the comments.
