Awards Day!!!!

Running awards…Mrs. Tianna Jarrell and Lorie Price’s class tied for the first place most laps completed per class! Great job all of second grade’. Keep on running!

Our Because Of Winn Dixie Party was a huge success! Thank you for all the donations and special thanks to our servers! The students loved reading the book and this was a perfect way to wrap it up!

These students earned a movie and snacks as an AR reward for earning 20 points with at least 80% accuracy at a 420 Lexile or above. Way to go kiddos!

If you checked out a chromebook it's time to return it.

Thank you so much for all the snacks for the Because of Winn Dixie party! We've decided to let the kids dress up for the party, nice dresses, suits, pants and shirt. It is completely optional. If they do dress up have them bring a change of clothes!

Second grade field day is Monday 11:30-2. Don't forget to have your child wear their Field Day shirt and bring the pen for friends to sign it. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, water, money for concession and a towel to sit on. Parents are welcome but of course can not participate in relays...its just for the kids 😆

We are trying to have a Because of Winn Dixie party and watch the movie on May 19th. We need lots of items to make this happen. We are going to make the egg salad sandwiches for all 115 students. If possible please send in the following items:

Pickles
peanut butter cookies
longenzers (cinnamon hard candy, butterscotch, mints, any hard candy)
can or large bottles of any type of juice
napkins
small plates
