IG Friends and Family,
After 12 years, Indian Givers has made the decision to dissolve our non-profit organization over the coming months. We are truly thankful for all of you who have supported IG and the community throughout the years. From our first volunteer event at Kennedy Middle School to the Casino Night Fundraiser where we donated clothes and supplies for the Syrian Refugee crisis, you all have touched so many lives with such a positive impact.
For our final fundraising event, IG has partnered with the No Kid Hungry Atlanta Society to raise money for food for children who rely upon school-provided meals but do not have access due to the COVID-19 related school closures. Over the past couple of weeks, the number of kids facing school closures has continued to climb. It’s now at 55.1 million students, including 1.7 million in Georgia. And 234.6 million meals at school have been missed by kids in need due to these closures. With every $1 donated, NKH can provide up to 10 meals per child, so even the smallest donation goes a long way.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank is using our funds to purchase and distribute emergency food supplies to support the nearly 300,000 children already living with hunger in the region, as well as those who will likely join them due to the crisis.
