This time of year is always a little bittersweet for me. While I am thrilled with Haydn’s acceptance to UGA, I am fully aware that others have to handle decisions that didn’t go their way. Below is a picture of several of my decision letters that were a “no.” When I received these letters, no amount of platitudes made me feel better. I knew the truth- that I trusted the One who holds my future- but I was still mad and sad, mostly sad. However, I am confident that if any of the below letters had been a yes, my life would be completely different. I want to encourage you, it is okay to feel all the things, and it does get better. You are not alone!
My mom's advice has always been to "bloom where you are planted." Even though I didn't always want to bloom in the aftermath of a rejection letter-especially after the UGA Grad School rejection- I learned to bloom in my circumstances, and looking back now, I wouldn't change anything! I know that it is much easier to say now, but I encourage you to keep pressing on!

In a growing test optional world, give yourself all the options! The higher the test score, the more options for admission and merit-aid scholarships.

*College Prep Boot Camp- June 10-13 from 1-3pm.
*ACT Prep Course- July 8-11 from 1-3:30pm.
* SAT Prep Course beginning August 4.

I love that my sweet Thatch thinks that I am good at teaching ACT and SAT. He knows how much joy helping students prepare for test prep and college brings me!
