Team Rhythm Walking

Imagine a team of 10, long-distance dancing (5K), synchronized, to the rhythm of non-stop house music. Project Rhythm Walking. Rhythm Walking was just an idea in 1994 when I first conceived of dancing in the streets to the rhythm of my Walkman with my headphones on. After dancing around in the streets by myself, I had the thought of others dancing with me. What would it take for others to hear the

music too? It would be fun to dance outside with others. Life intervened and I became a certified group fitness professional which provided me with the skills and knowledge to further develop a fitness format called Rhythm Walking. It took years to get the equipment. We have finally connected with a wonderful company that developed a prototype Rhythm Walking system for a team. Now that we have a prototype, it's time to start developing the first ever Rhythm Walking team. People have tried the system and love it. Check out the videos. Next is to get the equipment into production. That is a business within itself. And perhaps other instructors are faced with that same step as well. We'll let you know how we're dealing with it here. So, like Rhythm Walking and perhaps, someday, you will find it in a community near you!
