The best advice. Remember this on the days where it feels like the price of motivation is at a premium.

The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

The past doesn’t exist anymore. We are not focused on the precedent that was set, rather, we are focused on the standard we want to uphold.

Try to not marry yourself to any ideas, perspectives or entrepreneurial “truths”. Being open to change and adaptation is what separates the innovative from the complacent. Complacency is the kiss of death in any business.

Read this over and over. Everyday if you can.

It’s very common to lean into idealism when setting goals and peering into the future you’re setting out to create. It’s also very common to have this way of thinking bleed into the day to day actions we need to take to get there. The latter becomes a huge hinderance to the former. Do not waste time chasing the “perfect” method to accomplish the task at hand. Just do!Think about the easiest thing you could do right this moment that would start the process and do that thing. Sometimes motivation shows up to beget action, but action will ALWAYS beget motivation. i
