Aero Maker Space

The Georgia Tech Aero Maker Space is a workshop area that provides resources for students to design a Stop by the space during regular hours for details.

The space is open to all Georgia Tech students regardless of major. 3D printers and laser cutters are available during regular hours. If extra time is required, please contact a mentor or Dr. Di Leo. Wookworking room, metal shop, and composites lab are available for student use after completed training.

Senior Spotlight!⭐️

Join us in celebrating our graduating seniors✨

Hi everyone! My name is Saniya, and I am graduating this semester with my BS in Aerospace Engineering. I have been working at the AMS since Spring semester of my freshman year. This year, I served as president for the AMS, and prior had worked as our optimization officer for 3 semesters. My time working at the space has been invaluable to my college experience and I am so grateful for the community I found here.

Outside of school and work, I love running and hiking, traveling, spending time with friends, grabbing hot chocolate at Cafe Intermezzo, and finding new music (you may have heard me on Wrek Radio 😁). After graduation, I will be moving to Boston to begin as an Edison engineer at GE Aerospace!

It is bittersweet closing out this chapter, thank you to all our mentors and users for all your support during my time as president. 🫶

I’m Hiroshi Wang, and I’ve worked at the AMS for 8 semesters, serving as the Safety Officer in my senior year. I truly enjoyed every aspect of my time at the AMS and will definitely miss being a part of it.

Outside the AMS, I love music, especially djent, deathcore, and digital hardcore, and have been playing guitar for 6+ years. Through GT boxing, I developed an interest in martial arts and now practice Muay Thai. I also enjoy traveling and have spent time backpacking internationally.

After graduation, I will be joining the Low-Gravity Science and Technology lab as Master’s student!
