We are excited to welcome Bob Carnaroli to our HCA faculty as Academic Dean! With more than three decades of experience in education, school leadership, counseling, & athletics, he brings a wealth of knowledge & a genuine passion for serving students & families.
Bob began his educational journey at the University of Tampa, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education. He went on to earn a Master of Arts in Guidance & Counseling from the University of South Florida, a Master of Science in Administration from the University of Notre Dame, & a Leadership Add-On from the University of Georgia.
His career in Forsyth County Schools included helping open three local high schools. He spent 13 years at North Forsyth High School, serving as Lead Counselor & coached Cross Country & Track. He later helped open West Forsyth High School, serving as Lead Counselor & then Assistant Principal. In 2018, he helped open Denmark High School, serving as Assistant Principal.
In 2020, Mr. Carnaroli returned to North Forsyth High School as Principal, a position he held until retirement in 2025. During his career, he was recognized as Forsyth County Schools High School Counselor of the Year in 2007 & Forsyth County Schools Administrator of the Month in February 2019.
Athletics have also been an important part of his life. A 4-year letterman in baseball at the University of Tampa, he competed in the NCAA Tournament & finished with the university's second-highest all-time fielding percentage. He has remained connected to baseball throughout his career, including serving as Head Baseball Coach at HCA in 2026, when the team finished as the GAPPS Division II State Runner-Up.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Carnaroli values faith, family, & community. He is a member of North Point Community Church & has been married to his wife, Debi, for 35 years. Debi is also a retired Forsyth County Schools teacher. They have two children, Joey & Meredith, & one grandson, Lucas.
We are grateful to Mr. Carnaroli's experience, leadership, & heart for students as part of the HCA community. We look forward to the wisdom and perspective he will bring to our school, our staff, and our students.
