Yesterday was a banner day for KSE. The Foundation supported Science Olympiad team took 1st place in the state competition in the Data Crunchers event. We also took 2nd place in the state for the Which Way is North event. We are so proud of our students and all of their hard work. We are also very thankful for the teachers and volunteers that make it possible.
While we’ve been a fairly consistent participant in the state competition, This was the first time that KSE ever earned medals.

King Springs Foundation is proud to announce the FIRST Annual Linda B. Keeney Scholar is Charlie Milliron of Campbell High School.
Ms. Keeney, as principal of KSE, kicked off every day with her famous wise words: "Make good choices. Do the right thing. Make it a great day." Charlie's essay discussed having to make a difficult choice and the lessons he learned about himself from doing the right thing.
Congratulations to Charlie for this accomplishment. We look forward to this annual tradition. If you are a KSE alumni who will be graduating from a CCSD High School next year, don't forget to apply.
Right now we are only able to grant a single $1000 scholarship per year. If you would like to donate so that we can provide a larger scholarship or have more awardees, please check out our website. http://www.kingspringsfoundation.org/keeney-scholarship.html
