I've spent my career helping people connect to opportunity. Today, I'm excited to launch STEM Atlanta's most ambitious campaign yet.

Today, we are proud to launch the STEM Atlanta Ignite Every Mind™ | Transform the Future™ Campaign.

Across the country, employers, educators, and workforce leaders are having the same conversation: Artificial Intelligence is transforming how we work, learn, and lead. The future workforce will require new skills, new pathways, and new opportunities.

At STEM Atlanta, we believe preparation must begin now.

For more than a decade, we have empowered learners through STEM education, mentorship, innovation, and career exploration. Today, our mission is expanding to prepare both the next generation and today's workforce for an AI-powered economy.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 to equip 1,000 learners and professionals with future-ready skills, leadership development, workforce training, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and AI-powered capabilities.

Through this campaign, we will invest in five critical areas of impact:

• Career Readiness & Workforce Development
• Leadership & Entrepreneurship
• Mentorship & Industry Access
• AI Upskilling & Future of Work

This is more than a fundraising campaign. It is a movement to ensure that learners, professionals, and communities across Metro Atlanta have access to the tools, skills, and opportunities needed to thrive in the future economy.

What happens when community trust, data-informed wellness, and access-driven innovation converge.

As a professional working across Atlanta and the state of Georgia, I’ve always believed in the power of innovation to change lives. Now, I’ve stepped into one of the most exciting and emerging spaces of our time: Wellness Tech.

More than 200,000 families across the state remain uninsured, navigating wellness decisions with limited access to education, tools, and economic flexibility. At the same time, many capable professionals are facing career disruption, income instability, or a growing misalignment between how they work and how they want to live.

Introducing the Georgia Goes Vital Initiative

Recently in Atlanta, we formally launched the Georgia Goes Vital Initiative — a focused, community-centered effort built on two interconnected priorities:

1. Wellness education
Expanding access to practical, understandable tools and information that help individuals make informed, proactive wellness decisions.

2. Income opportunity
Creating flexible, ethical pathways for individuals seeking additional or alternative income — particularly those navigating job loss, transitions, or lifestyle realignment.

Where Wellness Tech Fits In

sits at the intersection of natural science, data, and accessibility.

As part of this work, we are developing —professionals trained to use simple, non-invasive assessment tools to support personalized wellness conversations and guide informed next steps.

These tools are not diagnostic, and they are not replacements for medical care. Their value lies in education, awareness, and engagement — helping people become more informed participants in their own wellness journey.
