We had a wonderful time at our CMS THEATER CAMP last week! Students enjoyed daily themes, participated in small group workshops, previewed our upcoming Musical Matilda, and had a special guest each day. Thank you all who participated. We will hold Matilda auditions
at the end of August, be on the lookout for more information when school starts!

For the 4th consecutive year, Carroll County Schools has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education (BCME) Award from The NAMM Foundation for their outstanding support and commitment to music education. Carroll County Schools is one of only 16 school districts in Georgia to receive this prestigious recognition.

Recipients of the 2026 BCME Awards were selected through a comprehensive application and review process that evaluates key indicators, including funding, instructional time, participation rates, facilities and community support.

Now in its 27th year, the NAMM program continues to spotlight and celebrate school districts and individual schools across the United States for their exemplary dedication to music education and their ongoing efforts to ensure equitable access to music learning as part of a well-rounded education.

We are incredibly proud of our music educators and their programs for this outstanding accomplishment and we are so thankful for our Board of Education, district and school administrators and our incredible communities for their unwavering support of all the fine arts in Carroll County!
