45years ago the Atlanta Chapter of became the 3rd chapter to receive its charter! (I was an infant.) While the story of its founding is much more nuanced, the spirit of how the group began remains true to today; if you have a desire and an interest in lace making and its history, you are welcomed and provided with all you need to learn and grow your skill. It was a pleasure to celebrate with my fellow Atlanta area lacers today. 💙
