Thinking about buying a truck dispatch course because it promises **job placement**?
Slow down.
A lot of people hear:
**“Buy our training and we’ll get you hired.”**
Sounds great.
Also sounds like something designed to separate desperate people from their money.
Here’s the reality:
No serious employer can honestly guarantee you a job without knowing:
* how you communicate
* how you handle pressure
* whether you can work with technology
* whether you have the professionalism to deal with carriers, drivers, and brokers without falling apart
A course can teach you information.
It cannot magically turn you into a great candidate.
And let’s talk about the math.
If a company has 5 or 10 openings… but sells training to 100 people… what exactly happens to the other 90?
That’s where “job placement” often turns into vague language, excuses, and disappearing promises.
Also, not all “placements” are worth celebrating.
A bad job with weak pay, unrealistic expectations, or commission-only nonsense is not an opportunity. It’s a headache with a login.
Here’s the smart move:
If someone promises job placement, ask them:
* Who is the employer?
* What is the exact role?
* What is the pay?
* Is it remote or in-office?
* Is this guaranteed in writing?
Then verify it yourself.
Because if the employer has never heard of the training company, congratulations — you’re not buying education.
You’re buying fiction.
The uncomfortable truth:
Stop trying to **buy a job** with a $300 course.
Build the skills that make employers want you:
clear communication, reliability, problem-solving, industry knowledge, and the ability to stay calm when the day goes sideways.
Don’t buy a fantasy.
Build value.
