On March 5 to March 6, 2022, I will lead the Annual Evelyn Gibson Lowery Civil Rights Heritage Tour throughout Alabama. Since 1987, this bus tour has taken us through the cradle of the Movement that brought about so much change to our nation in the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and beyond, working for voter’s rights. Some gave their lives during this struggle.

We will visit historic sites, meet the people, and view 13 monuments of Icons of the Movement that Dr. Evelyn Lowery and SCLC/W.O.M.E.N., Inc. have erected. We have taken thousands of students and individuals who proclaim the tour as, “Nothing Like It!”

Our Tour will be a 2-day event next year. You are invited to join us and/or sponsor students and others to visit landmarks and meet many people who are involved in the movement at that time. The total cost per person (youth/adult) for the two-day experience, which will include transportation, hotel accommodations and two meals per day is $400.00 per adult and $350.00 per student. Please note that we require one adult for every five youths under 16 years of age.

We are escorted by Fulton County Sheriff Department Officers and met by highway patrol escorts throughout Alabama. There is also security on each of our buses (Kingsmen Coach Lines). It is our hope that you will respond as soon as possible in order to confirm reservations.
