What does real musical growth look like?
It looks like a full house. It looks like a percussion ensemble of kids owning the stage next to Georgia State University and Georgia Perimeter College Wind Ensembles. It looks like a piece composed and commissioned specifically for them — Grove Patrol No. 1: Sweep the Beat by Marcus Moore, with original found percussion parts created by CMC faculty Emily Bridges, who rehearsed every beat and made the whole thing happen.
That's not just a performance. That's a moment these kids will carry with them.
This is what personalized, high-quality music education looks like at CMC Atlanta — and there's a place here for your child too.
