My name is Victoria Ross, and I am excited to be joining the team at Silver City Elementary School. I currently hold an Associate’s Degree in Business Management and am continuing my education in Early Childhood and Special Education.
I worked at Desana Middle School for one year in a special needs classroom, where I discovered how much I truly love working with students and supporting their growth both academically and socially. My experience there strengthened my passion for education and helping children succeed in a positive, supportive environment.
Outside of work, I am a proud mom to my daughter, Nova, who is 5 years old, and my son, Liam, who is 3. I am especially excited that Nova will be attending Silver City in August, making this new chapter even more meaningful for our family.
In my free time, you can find me painting, reading, or enjoying quality time with my family.
I look forward to becoming part of the Silver City community and building relationships with students, staff, and families!

My name is Lindsey Holmes, and I’m excited to join the special education team and the Silver City family! I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Adapted Curriculum Special Education. I have experience working with Pre-K and elementary-aged students in both self-contained and inclusion settings. I’m also a parent here at Silver City—my daughter, Reece, will be going into third grade, and my son, Jack, will be in first grade. When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my family, watching my kids play sports, and loving on our two Golden Retrievers, Chipper and Sully.

Today, the Silver City staff celebrated one of our amazing parent volunteers with our Volunteer of the Year Award. Ms. Jaime Brooks has been so instrumental is serving and supporting students throughout our building this year with her volunteer efforts. She loves our students well and supports our staff with great care. We are grateful for Ms. Brooks and all the wonderful parent volunteers we have in our building all through the year!! Enjoy your summer, Comets!!
